We continue to invest into our Managed Portfolio offer on North and we’re committed to providing more flexibility and choice for how you manage your clients’ assets.
We recently let you know that we’ve provided new functionality to help clients tailor their Managed Portfolios. You can read more about these new features here: Managed Portfolio investment preferences feature.
We’ll be writing to impacted clients via a Significant Event Notice (SEN) between 15 July - 9 August 2024 to inform them we’re providing new features for you to manage their Managed Portfolio investment. You can read a sample copy of the SEN on the AMP website.
What’s changing?
- We’ve updated the client report to make it easy to view your client’s investment preferences, with an investment preference tick box option.
- We’ve added explanatory notes to the Annual Statement for Super and Pension accounts, to explain the influence any customisation instructions a client may have on a Managed Portfolio.
When is the change effective?
The Managed Portfolio investment preference was updated in North Online on 24 June 2024.
Note: a new PDS was released on 27 May 2024. Please ensure you are using the correct PDS. You can find this on North Online > Products > product disclosure documents.
What are the impacts to clients?
There are no impacts to clients unless you decide to make a change to their portfolio to use this new feature, ensuring this is in line with their investment objectives.
What do I need to do?
There are no specific actions for you, other than to read the notifications and understand the changes.
