North provides you with the option to manually download data files for use with your financial planning software tool or CRM.

We are upgrading this file to the latest standard from v4.0 to v4.3. This means you will need to check that your planning software provider or CRM can support the latest version so that you can continue to use North data.

Please note that this does not impact any of our automated data feeds which currently include XPLAN, Plutosoft and Platformplus as these have already been upgraded to v4.3.

This update brings various benefits, including enhanced data quality and a wider range of data points related to your clients holding.

What's New?

  • Improved breadth of data - Provides greater accuracy of data and version 4.3 supports SMA and Managed Portfolios.
  • Improved validation process - We've improved our internal data monitoring and correction processes, ensuring data quality is continually being validated and is accurate.

What do you need to do?

North Online Download v4.0 (the existing version available on North Online) will be phased out in the coming months. Please confirm that your external software provider will be able to accept the new 4.3 version before 4.0 is phased out.

Stay tuned for further updates about the v4.0 to v4.3 migration date which is likely to be in August.
